Fishing, SEO & Online Marketing Consulting. Miami Fishing w/ Capt. Todd Malicoat

I have been a lifelong fisherman, and moved to Miami, Florida to get my captain’s license and run a fishing charter with my good friend Capt. Charlie Ellis (who is conveniently also a marketing consultant).  In early December, 2012, I became “Captain Todd” by earning my U.S.C.G. Merchant Mariner credentials.

I love marketing, being an entrepreneur, and fishing.  I want to help anglers and captains both to “catch more charters“, and help those with the same passions build better online businesses.

We operate Marauder Sport Fishing Charters out of Coconut Grove Florida (a neighborhood just south of Downtown Miami).  Coconut Grove is home to historic Dinner Key Marina where we are located on pier 8, slip 17 (between city hall and the marina office).  We specialize in catching sailfish, and you can find our latest fishing reports here.

My fishing career started early in Michigan, and was ignited by catching the more exotic saltwater species of Tampa Bay on annual trips to visit my grandfather.  My father, grandfather and I fished aboard a 14 ft boston whaler, and and I was always fascinated by what type of species we would pull up next.

Marauder Sport Fishing

I’ve been on a quest for bigger and more exciting gamefish for the last several years of my life.  I’m always looking for folks who want to pitch in for an offshore adventure, and willing to do so myself.

Fishing is fun, but there’s nothing quite like the crystal clear blue waters offshore of a tropical island searching for billfish in the spread.  Flying the kites for sailfish is an experience like  few others in fishing.  Watching a billfish bite a bait, then blast across the surface breaching and blistering speeds is something everyone should get to see at least once.

Miami Sport Fishing Boat - Marauder is a lifestyle that I love.  Fishing in paradise, and working on websites to pay for the passion.

If you’re a fisherman, or do marketing for a fishing related website or product, I’m always open to talk shop.  Just drop me a line.  I’m a big fan of doing favors for links, and love just discussing the sport.  I have a few self funded fishing projects myself that will be launched soon!
