Job Description

Blue Moon Works, Inc. is seeking a tech savvy marketer to fill the roll of Search Engine Optimization Analyst. The ideal candidate will use knowledge of html, CSS and other web programming languages to help optimize clients’ websites to be indexed and well ranked by search engines. The candidate will also help develop and implement strategies for increasing web traffic and sales through traditional and innovative search engine optimization techniques. The SEO Analyst will also be expected to perform routine keyword reporting, develop and implement linking campaigns, review sites for problematic SEO practices and analyze competing web sites to help determine site requirements and enhancements. You will work as part of a team developing integrated web marketing strategies that leverage our clients’ websites and unique selling propositions. Familiarity with direct & e-mail marketing, affiliate marketing, basic website usability standards and web copywriting is a plus. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Denver, CO.

Qualifications:

Keen technical skills with html, css and other web programming languages.

Strong knowledge of search engines, web research methods and RSS.

Understanding of standard web design techniques and technologies.

Ability to make procedural and administrative decisions and judgments.

Ability to distill and present complex technical information to a non-technical audience.

Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare client-ready reports.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Confidence in meeting clients and presenting strategy and concepts for discussion.

Ability to work quickly and methodically in an ever changing industry.

Upbeat, team oriented attitude. Willing to learn and adapt to a new environment.

Ability to work well under pressure and often-tight deadlines.

Creative, self motivated and independent.

Attention to detail and ability to create client-ready documentation.

Education: A Bachelor's degree with 1-2 years of experience in Web development, Web design, or Web Marketing. Additional relevant experience may substitute for some of the education requirements.
