The Master Link Baiter Strikes Again
If you're new here, you may want to learn more about me, introduce yourself or check out my best posts. Thanks for visiting!
If you can’t figure things out with Andy’s guide to linkbaiting, then you’re probably not gonna catch on. Notice it is not a guide - it is an ULTIMATE guide. The only thing I would argue in the article is that his link baiting service is probably 2nd best. Just to be fair - check out Brian P’s linkbaiters vs. linkninjas post too.

Thanks for the link, Todd. That’s why I have you ahead of Hagans on my Buddy List…and his name starts with “A”!

At present, there is nowhere to comment on Andy’s site, so I hope it is acceptable to provide accolades and feedback here…
Thank you for the link to Andy’s piece- I am new to the game, but along with being a content writer, I am a teacher on hiatus. It appears that baiting is a lot like engaging students. There are different styles and approaches to implement, and I think you have to be genuine (mostly - sure, there was a time or two I let the students have ‘rap’ battles to their delight- though little did they know they were writing and reciting poetry- but I digress..)and you have to bring a passion towards what you do.
I like the provision of title templates and I agree that you have to grab your ‘fans’ with a stellar title- the immediate and resonating power of words is not to be underestimated…
Grammar and writing style are also of great importance (though on my comment from Friday Favorites, I did indulge in a blunder- sometimes I don’t write so good- I mean well).
I really believe that you bring a personality to writing and besides keyword placement, solid links, great titles, good hooks, fine formatting, effective promotion, and killer content (it is king), ‘fans’ will be generated through the enterprise of creativity and originality.
Sure there are hot issues that everyone will gravitate towards because that is what is happening at the moment, but you can be an exception: “An original is not one who imitates no one, but one whom no one can imitate.”

Thanks for the heads up. Definitely the best roundup of a linkbait plan of action I have come across.
