Introduce Yourself Revisited

Online marketing information can change quickly This article is 8 years and 12 days old, and the facts and opinions contained in it may be out of date.

I thought I’d add the introduce yourself thread as top level navigation, since it’s always nice to know who reads here. If you haven’t done so before – please do it now. Lookin’ forward to meeting lots of new friends at Pubcon – and it’d be nice to know a little bit about YOU before we chat (since you know what a dork I am:)

    engtech, Canadian tech blogger.

I have absolutely nothing professional to do with SEO, but I’m always interested in increasing traffic to my blog.

I’d really like it if you’d increase the amount of text in your RSS feed. It’s a bit annoying to click on the link only to read the one sentence that was missing. :)

Crap! I wish to god I could roll time back a week, read this post and then meet you again at Pubcon. After a few drinks I “smashed” into a converstion with you and Greg, unfortunately mistook you for Thomas B. and then just fucked up even more! If I had only read your post, well better luck at the next pubcon.

  • http://www.bittenbydesign.com bittenbydesign.com

    Hey,
Just found your site recently, as a web designer branching out into SEO and the related fields sites like this are a great resource.

I feel that anything that can benefit my client, and improve my skillsets is certainly worth my time.

But Australia doesn’t have many conferences here about this stuff, so the web is the best way to learn and share ideas.

  • http://www.seoservicestoronto.com Mike Allan

    Hi

My name is Mike Allan and I’ve been dabbling in SEO for about 9 years for my own sites. I run a part time VHS to DVD transfer business and for the last 3 years I have been in the Top 10 for the term VHS to DVD transfers on Google.ca. I get 95% of my new business from this organic search.

I decided to get serious about SEO earlier this year and have landed a couple of small clients. A month ago I landed a plum position as an in-house SEO for a major Blue Chip client.

But enough about me, I just found your blog and I love it! I’ll be coming back regularly to see what you are up to. I also follow you on Twitter – my Twitter ID is newmediaMike.

I look forward to your future posts! Keep up the good work.
