Drinking My Own Kool-Aid: Best Posts Page Updated

Welcome back! Good to see you. If you haven't seen it, here's the archive of my best writing. Thanks for visiting!

I microblog now more than I blog at Twitter.com/stuntdubl
Feel free to drop me a line sometime or subscribe in case I ever post again.

So I wrote a little bit on how important I think a best posts page is to your blog users, and figured I’d go back through and review my archives a bit. I added a few little things, organized, and prioritized my new best posts page. Enjoy.

Its a great list of your best stuff! I love it!

Is there any way you could mark the new additions to the list? (New) Or… Did you add them to the bottom or the top of the lists?

Thanks again for the consistently great information.

Aloha,
Dave.

Thanks Dave. To be honest, I’m not exactly sure which ones I added now. Although, I did try to keep what I thought were the better posts near the top of each category (though this is probably not exact).

Todd, I think your idea is absolutely brilliant. It is tough for someone who jumps into any blog to get a sense of the place. After all it isn’t constructed like a website with an easy site map you can consult if all else fails. By giving a short list of some of the best posts, the visitor can more easily get a feeling for what the blog is all about. I’ve added a top ten list to each of my blogs and it’s a definite improvement. Clearly it will also help with the search engines too, so it’s win/win all round. Thanks for publishing this idea.
