Yeah. I did this on my webspace (3 Domains) and my Friend’s (2 domains) and they havnt blocked any of them yet.

FYI, They cant stop you from hosting a page… but if you do something like bruteforce the Firewall password or use a cellphone & bluetooth for internet access, then you can be sent to the office.

Another Idea I had, although not implemented, is to splice SSH with Firefox and GNU Tor to get a thumbdrive -ready version of Firefox that would “call home” to a Tor Node or an SSH server on a home-based computer.

Anybody Know of a PHP Proxy that will let people login to MySpace?

Click internet options, delete all files and cookies this will erase any known information. First off, SCHNetadmin that was kind of dumb to point out that we can surf the web also and that we can look this stuff up and see how they are bypassing things, they will go to another site and then we have to hunt that down. Second for K & M, and how are your little high school transcripts going to look when they see that you got three days out and a hearing for breaking the acceptable use policy….is not going to the the college you want really worth it….you are on our systems 7 to 8 hours a day….what you do on your systems are pretty much your business. Some of us have been doing this since before you were born. You may come up with new ways to do things but not new things to do.

Have any of you so called, ‘concerned parents’ and ‘anti-myspaceists’ stopped to think what about Myspace is so ‘terrible’? You have a blog, a blog that defines your personality. On this blog, you can place pictures of yourself (monitored of course), you can add your favorite songs and music videos, upkeep a blog/journal and add your friends to keep up to date with them. Also, to even work myspace, you have to have a little common sense about html (the basic programming language for most websites). Multi-million dollar programmers start out using C++ and HTML.

ok people (that includes teens, students, teachers, and “concerened parents”) You all are sitting here trying to say that we should do this, or don’t do this because of this. Some People in my oppion are right, and others are wrong. Just like over half the people that come to this site, i am trying to get on Myspace, or some other site, however with sites like these there is a problem. Obviously school addministrators come on to this site, when they see a site that they have not already blocked then they block it. However, it is not exactly right for them to then back trash all the sites. You say that we should ‘get lives’ study instead of try to get on myspace, howver that is not true for all of us. I myself am a pretty good student, I am not a delinquent, I am passing all my classes, and I’ll admit, teachers love me. If i honestly wanted to I would probably be able to get a teachers pass word, once I got into my math teachers accound in 7th grade. Why? Because I could. after some searching, heres a few things that work past websense but don’t work for logging in:

anyways, these three work but you cant log in. however, if you know a little something about websense, you’ll know that if you search proxy avoidance its filtered. so you can try to find something using these three.

Ok Now the best way I have found to bypass the firewalls is to A; host your own site with the http://www.com name original and set up a cgi proxy on the server changing the name of the proxy page every few days to as not to lead the com , commo, admin or who ever you deal with finding and blocking the root access. This has been the only means I have been able to keep a proxy for months, not days. when building the proxy make sure to remove anything that says proxy for this is a red flag. and also make sure to scramble the pages neatly but most of all change the page regularly. If an admin can see your proxy addy and look at and can tell its not an original page and is being used to bypass any firewall settings then the root to your site will most likely get blocked, much like the proxy servers listed here.
I have also noted some back doors to the web via cell phone sites like google mobile, Im not going to post any addys here but they are easy to find.

This Sucks! Not Your Website.. But the fact that I cant go on myspace at school. We used to have access through netcraft and Vtunnel.. But they finally blocked them.It Would be great if you could maybe create a website to have access, or something. Thanks.

Myspace is one of the best way to get ahold of old friends. Friends that you have not seen in years. Parents are anal about this web site but only anal because they dont watch what the teenagers are doing. This site is not just about teenagers. Its about finding old friends. It sick that all people want to do is try and hook up with other people they dont know. As far as I see this Myspace gives you the right to have certain friends or not. well anyway, if your school has a noob admin you should be able to get through just fine… if it’s an out of date blacklist then you’ll always be able to find a proxy.

Blacklist: list of sites that are blocked

now… if your school uses a whitelist, you’re out of luck. A whitelist is a list of sites that are allowed. Sites not listed on the whitelist are not accessible. In other words, websites not listed by your school on the whitelist are NOT ACCESSIBLE in any way.

Ok, here is the bottom line kids… I am a school IT Admin and here is the reasons…

Just recently we HAD to block myspace.. the reason.. Teachers could not TEACH!!! We have 1500+ computers on campus and in its hayday there were over 800 out of 1500 computers surfing myspace AT THE SAME TIME! This was from campus computers.. you know, computers you DONT OWN. So, when 800 people surf myspace at the same time, even on a DS3 connection, it takes it down because of all the stupid songs/movies/flashy crap that loads up on almost every profile! Teachers were so fed up they threatened to walk out and stop teaching if they couldn’t even pull up a website they needed for class.

On top of that the students that actually wanted to do homework on the lab computers, which is the sole reason they are there, couldn’t do that because everyone and their brother had to be on myspace 24/7 checking how many friends they have.

So our solution, we have 2 “E-Mail computers” that are unrestricted that students can surf from, and we also have open wireless in the library that anyone with a laptop can hop on for free and do as they wish on their own computer and we don’t have to worry about our internet connection dying anymore. At first we made a simple DNS redirect for myspace but that took all of 2 minutes for people to figure out proxies.. now we have SquidProxy/Dansguardian/and URLBlocker on a Linux box that is inline to all traffic must go through it (tranparent proxy). Yes, there are still ways around it, and I know exactly how, but you wont see me telling anyone how it’s done. HTTPS was rendered dead via the URLBlocker as it doesnt care what the prefix is, it just goes by URL alone, so even HTTPS sites are blocked.

I don’t care if your a straight A student (Like someone mentioned above). All that means to me is you SHOULD KNOW BETTER than the circumvent security of a business that you don’t work for. Imagine you trying to bypass the security if you had a job at any major company.. you would be walked out by security by the end of the day. Every place I have worked for, even schools, has AUPs (Acceptable Use Policies) and every one has stated if you break or circumvent network security it is immediate dismissal. I can’t see how someone who claims they are a straight A student cant get it through their head that it is NOT their computer and NOT their network.

Oh, but by all means, everyone keep posting your newly discovered proxies.. none of us IT folk know how to google “myspace+proxy”.. oh wait, thats what I did to find this site.

I just love how myspace is the ONLY way for kids to communicate these days. Cell phones, Email, Instant Messaging.. all useless to kids if you go by the above comments… heck, http://www.meebo.com is usually not blocked and that allows you to chat via IM through the web on any IM network… but noooo, myspace or nothing it seems.. It sure does seem like kids have really gotten a lot dumber in the last decade since I left school. Maybe it is just that idiots didn’t dare go near a school computer 10 years ago due to fear of the unknown.. now kids still don’t have a clue but the majority think their uber hackers just because they discovered the term “proxy”. If kids really had a clue they would study and learn then they would realize there are at least half a dozen EASY steps you can take to get around filtering. Proxies only keep the truely ignorant computer users out but is by no means a bulletproof method for filtering.

Here is a tip but you will have to figure out what comes next.. do an tracert on an external IP and study the hops.. within there will be your answer on how to get around your proxy for the majority of people.

If anyone knows how to bypass the filter, please let me know how, im not going to even bother with CGI-proxies or other proxy servers.

I have an idea that by changing connection settings I will be able to bypass the schools proxy server (perhaps remove the schools proxy server from the adress box it may automatically connect using ICS (Internet Conection Sharing)), however since i have never done any network administration classes i am not sure if it is a valid method. If it is a valid method, then someone let me know an I will write a program to automaticaly change the settings for those people who have IT Admin smart enough to block access to the connections tab.. or those people too stupid to know how to change the settings.

I admit that the ITs are rapscallions but we must not try to get on myspace. My concern is what else the ITs are blocking. Even some of our teachers are mad because they cant go to websites they need for class because BESS or SYNTAX blocks them. I know there are two unblocked computers but come on. In this day and age every one and there dog is a hacker. The ITs will be put out of bussiness once they relize that it is futile. I could care less though. I just want the sites that should be unblocked to be that way. I agree with the no myspace rule. But some sites can be used for research. For instance I was doing a report on Nobuo Uematsu. I ended up having to get around through links and such just because he wrote music for video games. I was about ready to shove my foot up the ITs butts at that time. get a usb flash drive go to a p2p software like limewire and download hide ip platinum(or any program that generate a new ip every so often) install it on your flash drive take it to school copy the shortcut on the desktop run the program and it will confuse the system and let site go through typing the site name and hiting go may take a alot of tries but it up to u to know if it worth the hassel or do what i did i took my restore cd of windows and did a clean install while letting my friend look out for teachers then you could install what ever you wanted try post ur results if this works for all systems then this will be one way they cant get us

Just to let you guyd know. A large portion of us adults also grew up on computers and know more than you think we know. Just to let you know that all of your browseing in work and home is hardware controlled but there is one way to get in and bypass all I will say is think Steve Case that may work.

Beside I am from the first generation of hackers who had 300bps modems! Though I was not one of the hakers but I knew who they where back then and those arenow the guys who run most of the filter systems thus being one step ahead of you.

The ONLY way to really do this is to tunnel out with SSH (if it’s open for you to use).

First, if you use a proxy site, you’re still using 80, 443, or 8080. Any Administrator worth his salt is only going to open those ports for you. Given that those are the only ports you can use, proxying is done transparently, and easily (by your administrator).

Even if you proxy, you’re proxying OUTSIDE his network, he proxies whatever you bring back in and matches the content, not the site.

In these cases, the only thing you can do is SSH over one of the approved ports (this takes some configuring), and have a proxy on your SSH server.

But… If he’s smart, he’s watching for encrypted traffic, and you’re screwed anyway.

ok kiddies, this may help if you want to bypass saftys i suggest u pull out the ethenet cord (that blue cord that connect broadband) as most schools run on a simple network, this will allow you to acess the computer not the server *warning some schools have alarms to alert them to this* restart ur computer and u should restart on the computer with factory settings, go to control panel and hit the restore settings, then delete the firewall and plug back in the ethenet cord, then start up ur browser and enjoy being unlimited surfing and this way you can also instal what u want, *u wont be able to access school profiles*

Have any of you people ever thought of simply following the instructions by “unnamed” but insted of changing the setting so you cannot log into your school profile go to C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers\etc.
Find the file named “HOSTS”, Open the file in notepad, then add:

This sucks, as I still cant get onto Mypsace from my school. Everything is blocked, we used to be able to use proxies all the time but now its blocked, it would be a great help if you could get another way of getting on tarrr

I use http://www.fishandchips.co.cc at school. It’s works… for now

My school surely will block this proxy after a few days. If the IT admin find out too many request and bandwidth usage for any website, they will surely check the website and block it. (except wikipedia and education site lol)

Welp. Lemme tell Yall Little ones Something…

-They can block anything on the Web with the Following headlines of the general site:
–Dating.
–Social.
–Proxies.
–Anonyizers.
–Etc. Etc.

None will work.
They get the general preferences & block the sites by Category.

I have used many proxy sites over the years be it PHP CGI glype watever,
Nowadays none seem to bypass the ever strong filters{ websense, K9 , bess},
some things one should observe when looking for a proxy site:

-Shouldn’t be a .info { filters by default block them coz most are proxy sites}
-Shouldnt contain the words proxy or others like myspace,orkut,bebo in it. { they keyword filter those}
-On the safe side should be a SSL encrypted ones {https sites filter find them difficult to scan}
-Should be a reputable provider and provide fresh domains update {So that proxy owners dont steal our information,
face the fact domains will get blocked eventually, so its necessary to provide new ones.}
-I would recommend CGI proxy , even if they are time consuming they give the desired results.

Currently i use https://makemoneyonline.org.in from pagemod.com proxies.They have both CGI and PHP proxies in them.
Very Reputable,SSL enabled, does provide new domains by just sending a mail to pagemod@gmail.com
