Samsung i730
Mobile search marketing and optimization is on it’s way, and Andy and Jimmy are on top of it over at Mobile Optimizers. I don’t usually do too many shameless plugs, but I’ve been really excited to jump into the fray on mobile search marketing, and Andy has provided a lot of excellent resources to get started. I recently got myself a Samsung i730 (pictured) which is fantastic for travelling (especially metro areas with EVDO broadband support).

I’m pretty sure I’m a fairly early adopter, but I can easily see how when mobile and local collide, it’s gonna be a big deal. The hardware is getting better, the information is getting better, and pretty soon there is going to be demand for Mobile search engine marketing. Learn now, or play catchup later. Mobile search engines are a valuable resource that will be utilized, and we’ll be right there to optimize for ‘em.

Although this was posted sometime ago it is amazing that nobody has left a comment. I could not agree more that mobile SEO is going to be big!! Over the past months there has been a rapid increase in the amount of pages being converted to mobile standards. If the likes of Google and Yahoo have gone into making mobile search engines and mobile directories it can’t be too far off! Google also bringing out adwords for mobile has got to do something soon. What will be interesting is that a lot of mobile sites are trying to push away from having a lot of content on the page, what will this mean for seo since Google is quite fond of content. Who knows but I can’t wait to see.
    Happy mobile SEOing
