I’m not REAL certain why someone would want to work at an ad agency, but these two bright creative minds pulled some pretty cool stunts in order to get noticed. I personally enjoyed the folded “remember us” business card with their mug shuts.
This is a great demonstration of how difficult it is to really get someone’s attention these days for any reason. It’s especially difficult to get someone’s attention if you are trying to pitch them or get a job with them. Business consumers only seem to want to take a chance with people they have relationships with (Everyone should read Permission Marketing). In order to rope those folks AWAY from that line of thinking you need something innovative that is REALLY going to catch their attention, and let them know your level of dedication. It takes a true guerilla to get the attention of someone set in their ways. Moral of the story…don’t follow the crowd if you want to get someone’s attention…okay, there really isn’t a great moral here, but congrats to these two on pulling something cool to get what they wanted.
I wonder if I can hire these two to pitch the large ad agencies on how badly they could you a good internet marketing consultant…hmmmmm…..
