IPO Conspiracy Theories Abound: Article - What can't you find on Google? Vital statistics

Is Google run by a bunch of goofy geeks, or evil mastermind business geniuses? The conspiracy theories behind Google going public are just starting to surface, but the article below was kind of interesting, and I liked the fact that it claims we are ALL "Linux users". It also brings up some good points about Google's true processing power. G claims they have 10,000+ "servers", but speculation is that they may have closer to 100,000 machines. The question the author raises is WHY is this one of the things that G is open about.
