Google to Allow Bidding on Trademarked Names

I think this is a very good things for retailers, distributors, and "middlemen". Although G may face some litigation for it, I would imagine that the income stream FROM allowing brand names to be bid on should AT LEAST cover their costs, and keep retail distributors much happier. "Middlemen" are a resiliant bunch, and continue to survive by adding value.

Trademark holders still have some recourse for copyright infringement, but the burden is now placed on them to file the complaint of unathorized use. Nice Job G! Cover your butt, and keep people happy...that's why they're the best.
