I had the great opportunity to attend “WebmasterWorld’s PubCon”. I really can’t say enough about how exciting the experience was. While writing this entry, I came across someone else describing the conference. I’m pretty sure that I was one of those “starry-eyed newbies” picking the most expensive brains in SEO for free. It really was an experience that I couldn’t describe to those who didn’t make it.
Another neat aspect of the conference is that I’ve had the opportunity to start dialogues with very talented individuals from other countries. I’ve been e-mailing back and forth with a very friendly and helpful gent from rural Scotland who is a wiz when it comes to Google. I’ve also had the luxury of e-mailing some of the other folks that I spoke with, that I’d like to mail much more often, but there only seems to be so many hours in the day. Since I think these entries are a more appropriate place for personal thanks. I’d like to thank Calum, Brett, Lance, Ross, Bob, George, Jake, Jeff, Thomas, Lawrence, Roger, Steve, Justin, Jon(s), Jim, Mike(s), Jeff, Ash, Grant, Jimmy, and anyone else who was kind enought to have a discussion with this wild-eyed newb. You guys all RAWK! I’ve never seen anyone wrestle an alligator like werty did either. I sure thought it was gonna bite him, but he went all crocodile dundee on it.
